KYIV, UKRAINE - SEPTEMBER 16: Artem Milevskiy of Dynamo Kyiv (R) fights for the ball with Artyom Radkov of Bate during their UEFA Europa League game on September 16, 2010 in Kyiv, Ukraine

Kiev’s talismanic football club may be the most famous side in Eastern Europe but they continue to play their home matches at a positively quaint little ground nestled in among the chestnut trees and leafy hillsides of downtown Kiev.

Why should I go? Tickets for home league matches are readily available outside the ground daily and will cost less than $ 10. There are few places in Europe today where you can see such top quality football live for these prices. If you’re in town for a European fixture try to get along to the box office early – tickets will likely sell out, but it is a strongly recommended experience.
